Supporting Confidence Through Exercise

Supporting individuals living with or in remission from life changing conditions to regain self-esteem, confidence and an improved quality of life through activity participation

Founded in December 2015, Supporting Confidence Through Exercise is a North West Leicestershire based charity dedicated to the provision of ‘stepping stone’ programmes preserving and protecting the good health of people living with or in remission from a life changing condition.

Our programmes are specifically designed to meet the needs of a condition with the highest priority given to enhancing a participant’s confidence and self-esteem through activity participation supported by our holistic approach.

For many facing a life changing condition, learning to live with and to manage their condition can be a daunting and challenging prospect. Our aim is to provide an alternative means to connect with others challenged by the same condition, to become part of a supportive and informative network whilst experiencing the social, physical and psychological benefits gained from proactive activity participation.

We are proud to be currently delivering programmes for Breast Cancer Survivors and are working towards further provisions for Parkinson’s Disease and Mental Health during the forthcoming year.
